Core Platform
Booking & Scheduling
How Peasier turns a public inquiry into a confirmed, paid photography session — session types, availability, conflicts, and client self-service.
Booking is the front door of the platform — it's how a public inquiry becomes a confirmed, paid session.
Session types and pricing
Studios define session types (e.g. Wedding, Portrait Session) with one to five pricing packages, up to ten optional add-ons, and the deliverables a client sees before booking. Mini-sessions use a fixed set of pre-set time slots instead, which suits high-volume seasonal events like holiday photo days.
Availability
Each session type has its own availability: recurring weekly hours, one-off date overrides for holidays or time off, buffer time between bookings, and rules for how much notice a client needs to give. Slots are shown in 30-minute increments.
From inquiry to confirmed booking
A booking starts as a pending request, moves to confirmed once approved (and paid, if payment is required), and finishes as completed once the session has happened. It can be cancelled at almost any point along the way — by staff, by the client themselves, or automatically if a required payment isn't made in time.
Once a session's date and price are set, they're locked in: later changes to pricing or packages never change a booking that's already been made.
Avoiding double-bookings
Peasier checks every new booking against existing ones and flags overlaps automatically. Depending on how a studio sets it up, an overlap either blocks the booking outright or lets staff proceed after confirming it's intentional — and that decision is always kept on record.
Rooms, equipment, and deposits
Studios can set up rooms, equipment, and crew as things clients' bookings automatically reserve, so two clients can never be double-booked into the same studio space or piece of gear. Studios can also require a refundable deposit for higher-risk bookings, like destination shoots or studio rentals.
Clients manage their own booking
Clients never need an account to manage their booking. Rescheduling or cancelling is done through a private link sent by email, confirmed with a one-time code — no back-and-forth with staff required.
Contracts, automatically
If a studio has set a session type up to require a contract, confirming the booking sends it automatically — see Contracts & E-Signatures.
