Contracts & E-Signatures

Peasier includes its own e-signature tool for booking agreements and other studio contracts. A contract stands on its own — it doesn't need to be attached to a booking, invoice, or gallery to exist, so it also works for one-off agreements outside the usual booking flow.

Signing

A contract can go to one signer or several, either one after another or all at once, depending on what the studio needs. Before anyone can actually sign, Peasier confirms it's really them by sending a one-time code to their email — so a signature can't be forged just because someone got hold of the link.

From draft to signed

A contract moves from draft, to sent, to viewed once someone opens it, through signing (one signer at a time if it's sequential), and finally to fully executed once everyone required has signed. Along the way it can also be declined by a signer, expire if it's not signed in time, or be voided by the studio — an expired contract can always be given a new deadline and sent again.

Why you can trust a signed contract hasn't been altered

Once every signature is in, Peasier permanently seals the contract: the exact document everyone signed, every signature, and a timeline of every action taken on it are locked together so nothing about it can be quietly edited afterward. You get a finished, uneditable PDF with a certificate at the end confirming exactly who signed, when, and how their identity was verified — the same kind of proof you'd want if a signed agreement were ever disputed.

Sent automatically from a booking

If a studio has set a session type up to require a contract, confirming the matching booking sends it automatically, with the client's name, the studio's name, and the session date already filled in — one less thing to remember to do by hand.

Writing contracts with AI help

Staff can ask an AI assistant to draft or edit contract language in plain English instead of writing legal-sounding clauses from scratch. The photographer always reviews and approves everything before it's sent — the assistant drafts, it never sends anything on its own, and it never sees a client's actual personal details while doing so.

Getting paid through a contract

A contract can be set up to collect a deposit and a remaining balance, using the same invoicing you'd use anywhere else in Peasier — see Invoicing & Payments — so there's no separate payment system to learn.
