Payouts

What the Payouts page actually shows for Naira vs. US Dollar earnings, and why it's a record of settlement, not something Peasier controls.

Since Peasier never holds a studio's money, the Payouts page isn't a wallet — it's a record of money that's already moved, shown in a currency-appropriate way.

Naira payouts (Paystack)

For Naira earnings, Peasier shows a genuine pending-versus-settled breakdown: a pending balance for payments still working their way to your bank, and a settled balance for what's already landed. A payout history lists each settlement — the date, how many transactions it covers, and the net amount deposited — and any individual settlement can be exported as a CSV or downloaded as a PDF statement, useful for handing straight to an accountant.

US Dollar payouts (Stripe)

For Dollar earnings, the story is different: Stripe pays a studio directly, entirely outside Peasier, so Peasier can only show an approximate running total of what's been collected before Stripe's own processing fees. For the exact payout amount and when it actually lands, a studio checks its own Stripe dashboard — that's the source of truth for USD payouts, not this page.

Why the difference

This follows directly from how each currency is processed: Naira invoices settle through Paystack in a way Peasier can reconcile precisely, while Dollar invoices are a direct charge straight to the studio's own Stripe account. Neither path ever gives Peasier custody of the money — the difference is only in how closely Peasier can track someone else's settlement after the fact.
